Use waproamd to associate automatically. Guessnet can detect
the network to which the Wi-Fi card has associated. E.g., here is
the logical interface definition I use for the wireless network
with name 'lubber'.
iface home-wireless-static inet static
test wireless essid lubber
address 192.168.1.9
netmask 255.255.255.0
gateway 192.168.1.1
dns-nameservers 192.168.1.1
