Fellow Debian users, greetings. I need help installing Debian on a Sony Vaio 505TX.
So far I have managed to install the base system and have dual booting with LILO. But I can't get the mouse recognized, and I can't get X to work. I am a totall beginner in Linux. I heard that Caldera or Mandrake may be easier to install, but after reading about all packages, I decided to start with Debian, since even if it is harder. I like the principles Debian stand for. Anybody out there has experience with the same machine? Thanks in advance. Dada Amitavidyananda
