Things are going good! I used joeyh's stable-updates tecra boot disks which I needed for my Xircom Realport pcmcia network card. Once I got base installed I set up apt and went through dselect and made my selections. Exited and and used 'apt-get -d dselect-upgrade' and went to sleep since I am only connected to the net via 56k modem. Woke up to find all was downloaded. Started the install and configure without any hassles. Now I just have to figure out how I want to set this up since it will be intermediatly connected to the network. I also dowloaded the XFCom_NeoMagic X server and it works like a charm.
No questions for now. But I am sure I will have some as I get more into it. Specifically I see questions comming concerning APM/ACPI. Now I off to build a custom kernel 2.2.12 with the NeoMagic sound driver patch.
