trying to send email. you don't expect it to be delivered but you want it to be queued so as soon as you do connect it gets sent. problem is that if you were connected when you booted sendmail binds to your ethernet/ppp interface and times out trying to talk to itself. one solution to this is to use the dummy module to up your ethernet ip on your box. adam.
