This sounds very interesting to me, as I have a Dell Latitude CPi, and I've never managed to get suspend-to-disk working in Linux. Even normal suspend is a bit flaky. I have tried many 2.2 kernels with apm compiled in, and I run apmd too. It suspends and writes data to disk, but when I resume, it freezes with a black screen and a blinking cursor in the top left corner. Any ideas on how I can track this problem down?
