I have a Toshiba Satellite with the touchpad mouse built in. However, most times I'm connected to a USB hub with a keyboard and mouse. Both are Logitech, and I would like to have access to the scroll wheel events when connected. But, my system doesn't respond to the scroll wheel even though I told X that it's there (via "dpkg-reconfigure xscreen-xfree86").
To make matters worse, when I disconnect from the USB hub, the mouse goes all wonky when I use the touch pad. It'll move if I go slowly, but if I do anything beyond a snail's pace the mouse pointer flies all around the screen then moves to the bottom-left corner. Any suggestions on how to configure the system? -- Darryl L. Pierce <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Visit the Infobahn Offramp: <http://mcpierce.mypage.org> "Bury me next to my wife.
