I mounted an external drive and copied off everything I could. I already got the replacement hard drive from Dell, and am in the process of configuring sarge on it. I have to say, btw, sarge 2.6 installation has been the smoothest linux installation I've had yet. Didn't have to do almost anything. I suppose sarge is getting close to being released.
