Sometime around Christmas 2003. Realistically, whenever debian-installer is ready. Debian uses roughly the same schedule as Apogee Software: When it's good and ready to be released, that's when it'll be released. However, nothing is stopping you from changing stable in your sources.list to sarge if you want a head start. > Will it include Debian Installer, or use a more historical approach > to installation? d-i. > Will Debian woody systems be able to seemlessly use an upgrade semantic > published by Debian.org, or will it be a feeding freenzy. apt-get will do it all for you. > PS. Woody is way too old of a distro for me to recommend....... Yes, thank you, we've heard that before. When it comes to any software, you have two options: New and unreliable or old and solid. Pick one, not both.
