Generally for 2.6 kernels you should just use the pcmcia in the kernel. > 3) madwifi also from sf.net. I believe that the prism54 chipset is the only 802.11g one that has GPL native Linux drivers, and hence is included in the latest 2.6.x kernels. So although I have atheros chipset, because that's what is built-in to my Thinkpad R50p, if I were to buy a new card I would be buying one based on the prism54 chipset.
