I want to install Debian (testing) on my laptop. I have some questions:
- I want to install it via FTP. On http://people.debian.org/~dwhedon/boot-floppies/,
there are several images available. What are the differences between them?
Are there any images available that will install kernel 2.6.x?
- I need XFree version 4.3 for my video card. How can I install that easily?
How should I modify my sources.list for apt-getting the xfree-packages?
- Any other tips/hints for installing debian on my Acer Travelmate 280?
