Hello, my problem is that my supervisor gave me a PowerBook 190 and told me to make it usable for ivorian counterparts - well I haven't been in touch with Apple yet and I shall get software for this OS version and it must be in french. My first idea was that I can install debian. Then it will have heeps of software and it can be in french. But when I saw it, I was suprised that it is soo old, does not habe a CD-R, etc.. Is there somewhere a good guide how to install debian on a PB 190? The few archive entries I found were 2 y old and linux-on-laptops/tuxmobil does not even mention this notebook. I hope not too much tweaking has to be done, so that this work does not stuff up my "real" work ,-)
