I did that, via dpkg-reconfigure console-data. Didn´t change much. > Try selecting a different keyboard. I don't know specifically about > yours, but start by trying the standard 104 key layout. I chose a 101 key keyboard. Is there a complete list somewhere? The 101 works better than the 104, but I still get some weird characters, especially on upper case R and the like. And when shifting numbers. E.g. & will come out &! and so on. > Make sure you select to 'manage XF86config with debconf' or similar > option at the start. I also went the hard way and edited the refresh rates etc. Still the thing (Trident Cyber 9525) boots up in 800x600, although the display handles 1024x768. Any other ideas?
