-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi,
besides my Dell-related rant, some more (maybe a little more useful) advice: The i855GM integrated graphics chipset has proven to be a source of trouble with Linux. I have one and that is what all those Dell-problems have been about. Basically, there is driver support but it's not the way you'd wish it to be. Intel doesn't give out specs so it's hard to natively support it. You're probably better off if you get a card with a ATI chip, they seem to be (on average) better supported. Still, you could get positive surprises with the Intel chips just as you could probably have bad surprises with the ATI chips.
