850 mhz is a quite decent cpu for linux usage. I can even play divx/xvid videos on the laptop I mentioned with only a p2/233mhz cpu... Anyway thanx for answering. When I'll find some spare time I'll try these patches (or -ck, -wolk patchsets) on that laptop.
