Hi List, 

Torsten Wolny gave me a hint on debian-users-german, that brought the
missing file back:

dpkg -i --force-confmiss laptop-net_2.7-1_i386.deb

Obvoiusly, I deleted it at some point before _by hand_ and after that
apt-get didn't restore it. But with above command it is restored.

So: Problem solved, thanks to all and especially Torsten.
