I got my work cut out for me ... here I go, I would like to install Debian onto an older laptop. I am not interested in installing X, this system will be used for hacking (no not cracking).
Specs: IBM Thinkpad 390 (just the 390) Floppy Drive 2 PCMCIA Slots Panasonic SCSI 4x CD-ROM with a SCSI-PCMCIA Card. 2 PCMCIA NICs which I do not have the specs on at the moment. Which Debian Floppy Installation Set should I use? My guess would be safe (vanilla), but I wanted to get some additional opinions since I know I will need PCMCIA support if I want to install the drivers from CD-ROM (my preference would be via the Net).
