Win98, using the MS supplied driver for Trident CYBER9385. In Win98, I can go up to 24-bit color at 640x480, and 16-bit at 800x600. Supposedly the external monitor can do 256 colors at 1024x768, but I don't remember. According to IBM specs, my 760 EL, model 9547-U4G uses a 12.1" SVGA Black Matrix TFT - active matrix LCD panel. Only 256 at 800x600? Looks like (according to this sheet here) you must've had the 9547-U6H model 760EL, which has a 11.3 DSTN LCD panel. -- ---Dave Woyciesjes ---ICQ# 905818 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
