i think that you do not have to install 2.5.x for that. the aforementioned site says it needs >2.4.18 + ACPI-backport OR 2.5.x. i suppose you grab the latest kernel 2.4.20 (unless you use ext3 with the option data=journal, see http://www.kerneltrap.org/node.php?id=515) and the ACPI-backport from http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=36832 hth, sebastian -- ::: sebastian henschel ::: kodeaffe ::: lynx -source http://www.kodeaffe.de/shensche.pub | gpg --import
