Hi all, got a new laptop, want to install debian on it. The possible trouble spots are: ATI mobility Radeon 7500 Orinoco miniPCI WIFI card Synaptics PS/2 type touch pad Cirrus Logic Crystal WDM audio The rest should be easy. If I manage to resize the WinXP partition. I don't want to go whole hog at first and delete it and I only have a rescue CD, not a real XP install disk. I don't know how this would work if I had to wipe and repartition and then reinstall from the rescue CD onto a smaller partition.
