Hi, please support the work of Jean. He has already done a great job with improving dmidecode. This programm was originally developed by Alan Cox to read out manufacturer data from the BIOS, which can sometimes be very helpful for laptops, e.g. preventing lm_sensors to be installed accidentically on an IBM ThinkPad (it can destroy them).
