Hi all, with the following modelines in Debian Woody with XFree86 Version 4.1.0.1 on Savage4 Video adapter with driver module savage_drv.o version 1.1.16 I recognized a strange syncing problem. It looks like a virtual line. The top half of the screen seems to entwined against the bottom half of the screen, when horizontal camera turns happen (DVDs, SVCDs, DivX played with Xine or mplayer).
I hope you can imagine what I'm trying to describe. Besides this problem the screen has the correct resolution. I am pressing Fn+<Special TV-OUT Key> to turn on the Ouput on TV. This shortcut is hardware driven and works on all operating systems. This problem doesn't happen on the same laptop with Windoze XP. This means for me that it is possible with correct modelines. How can I solve this problem ? Does anybody solved a similar problem ? Thanks for all postings.
