Ok. Thanks a lot you all for you replies. The acpi package on woody is: acpi-0.0.5-1 and it's on http://packages.debian.org/unstable/utils/acpi.html I've patched my 2.4.17 kernel with the acpi-20020308 from http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=36832&release_id=85581 > All I see on woody > are acpid (yes, you should have this), powermgmt-base (you need this, too), > wmacpi and akpi (both essentially battery monitors). Thanks! that helps a lot. I don't think I have installed any of them, apart from the acpid, that I got from http://phobos.fs.tum.de/acpi/ but I don't thhink was very useful in my case, because the battery is not showing up in my event. Thanks a lot, I'll have a look into the packages you mentioned Cheers -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
