If you're using Potato, no way: XFree 3.3.6 does not offer support for Radeon chipsets. XFree 4 has it, but you still need version 4.1.99 at least: this is the first release to support the Mobility Radeon chipset, which is what you have on your machine. Sid and Woody version, 4.1.0-14 (at the moment I'm writing), DOES NOT work, so you have to manually recompile XFree yourself.
