Hi Folks, A year or so ago, I tried to get an XF86Config put together which would support an external monitor running at 1024x768 and/or 800x600 in 16 bit mode. I was using an old 14" monitor, and never got past 640x480. I now have an HP Ergo 1024 15", but can't seem to get it to work.
Q: Does anyone have an XF86Config for the Thinkpad 560E that uses an external monitor at 800/600/16 or 1024/768/16? Q: Also, is it possible to have just one XF86Config file, or does one have to change it when using internal/external monitors? I never got one to work properly with both in my earlier experiments.
