Whether you intended this as a troll or not, sending something worded like this to a linux laptop list _is_ a troll, so it ill behooves you to be insulting to those who see it that way. but to answer your question: - Absolutely, my laptop functions as a PDA - it also contains a complete copy of the Oracle database I work on for my client, including the web server - so in this case it becomes all of: a database server, a web server and a development workstation - yes, it keeps my mail in one place by running an IMAP server so that I can access it from any machine on my network, but when I move, my IMAP server goes with me - but of course the big point is that I simply can't stand Windows. Sure, I _could_ do all my work on Windows but why would I want to? Linux is more stable, at least as easy to use, and generally more fun. (Yeah, someone pointed out that W2K was stable, but I can't afford it). -- derek -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
