Hi, okay i think found the problem: after configuration of pcmcia i found the following stuff on virtual console 3: [ for shorter lines: {*} := Oct 29 20:00:22 (none) ] ... {*} user.info dbootstrap[153]: Starting 'cardmgr ' {*} deamon.info cardmgr[224]: starting, version is 3.1.28 {*} deamon.info cardmgr[224]: watching 2 sockets {*} deamon.info cardmgr[224]: initializing socket 0 {*} deamon.info cardmgr[224]: socket 0: Asix AX88190 Fast Ethernet {*} deamon.info cardmgr[224]: executing 'modprobe axnet_cs' {*} deamon.info cardmgr[224]: get dev info on socket 0 failed: no such device Well i think the problem is, that i dont have an Asix AX88190 Fast Ethernet network-card, but a Gericom RE450CT 10M Ethernet FCC-ID MQ4EC2T. So how can i help debian 'guessing' the right network card?
