---------- Forwarded Message ---------- Subject: [ltp] alsa module compilation Date: Sun, 30 Sep 2001 14:46:56 -0400 (EDT) From: Rikki Hall <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] I'm trying to get sound working on my TP600. I've done: (install linux-2.4.9 kernel source + ac17 patches) apt-get source alsa-source cd /usr/src/linux-2.4.9-ac17 make xconfig make-kpkg build make-kpkg kernel_image make-kpkg modules_image The kernel and tpctl .deb files get built just fine, but when it comes to the alsa modules, I get this output: cat debian/modules.d/control.source > debian/control cat debian/modules.d/control.module-image >> debian/control cat: version: No such file or directory sh debian/modules-tools.d/check-debian-rules-pkg ./configure --with-processor=i686 --prefix=/usr --with-kernel=/usr/src/linux-2.4.9-ac17 --with-moddir=/lib/modules/2.4.9-ac17/alsa --with-sequencer=yes --with-isapnp=yes --with-cards="cs4236" /bin/sh: ./configure: No such file or directory make[2]: *** [config] Error 127 make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/modules/alsa-driver-0.9+0beta4' make[1]: *** [kdist_image] Error 2 make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/modules/alsa-driver-0.9+0beta4' Module /usr/src/modules/alsa-driver-0.9+0beta4 failed. When should "configure" be generated, or why is it not included in the alsa-source package?
