I used the 365X w/ 24 MB RAM until just a few weeks ago, and had good
luck using the Blackbox mindow manager. As near as I can tell,
Blackbox is the leanest wm, or very nearly so. I too had poor
performance from Mozilla. Better results were obtained with Netscape
Navigator, and from the KDE browser (I can't recall its name, sort of
a predecessor to Konqueror). Good luck.
