my inetd.conf was a bad example apparently....
$ dpkg -S /etc/yp.conf
nis: /etc/yp.conf
gave nicer results... sorry for the hassle ;-)

(-) Same for me, but "dpkg -S inetd.conf" tells me that debmake has an
(-) inetd.conf.ex. "dpkg -S inetd" returns a bunch more stuff, including
(-) netkit-inetd. I have a feeling that no package actually contains that
(-) file, but maybe netkit-inet.d builds it after installation.
