has any of u guys ever tryed to run linux on one of the new sony vaio
notebook, with all drivers compatibles and stuff?
I know some folks on sourceforge are developing the things for the jog dial
control, but I guess it is not ready, at least might be working... dunno.
There are other things such as the wireless modem, cd/dvd controled by usb
(just as the optional floopy disc I would need to get), memory stick
slot...
etc etc etc. I haven't seen things for thes for a while, but that's my first
notebook actually... so I dunno how far is the development for all of
these.
I'm planning of getting one of these beaultiful-small-slim-machines, but I
dunno if vaios are not a very gnu/linux friendly machines... :) anyway, what
other laptops would be? none I guess... besides de cursoes probably.
