I finally managed to get IRDA of Sony Vaio PCG-680K working with my Nokia
7110 (i reported my problems here about a month ago). Solution turned out
to be as simple as putting laptop to sleep and then waking it up. After
that everything works smoothly, but I am unable to ger IRDA working without
sleep-wakeup cycle, despite all my efforts -- judging from irdadump output,
laptop simply ignores signals from phone -- at least they did not show up
in irdadump output.
Anyone else experienced such strange behavoir? And against which package
i;m supposed to file this bug? (kernel-image or irda-common)
