Sorry I was trying to remember what it said off the top of my head (my
laptop has no net connection being at home, and not at work, and having
a dodgy AMR modem!). What it actually said was:
modprobe: can't locate module char-major-10-135
I assume that this means that what you said above is already done, but I
will check tonight, and write more tomorrow.
