For the benefit of those who are trying to get sound to work on their toshiba 490xcdt/cdt's, here's the line I added to my modules configuration (put this line in a file called options in /etc/modutils): options -k opl3sa2 io=0x538 mss_io=0x530 irq=5 dma=1 dma2=0 ymode=2 loopback=0 mpu_io=0x330 (all on one line) This is assuming your laptop is using the default config.
