Hello, although I am far from finished importing the old Spanish man pages, you can start anytime with reviewing and completing the files. Once a .po file has been committed to po/es/man*, it is to be considered as finished from my side. After importing, I've fixed some changes in formatting or any other changes which, for example, has been caused by spelling corrections in the original text or by removing some parts from the gettext messages.
Currently Po4a generates 103 translated man pages (which reach a translation state of 80% or more), and there will be added a lot of links when the package gets installed. The Spanish part is still disabled in the Autotools toolchain, but I think we should activate it as soon as possible. It's better to have 103 up-to-date translations than nothing (as currently in Debian) or only outdated stuff (as currently in the other distributions we support, except Archlinux, which doesn't have a man-pages-es package at all). We are planning the next release in october, maybe we should start shipping the Spanish translations with that version, if you agree. For upcoming releases, I could imagine to also import the content of manpages-es-extra, but let's concentrate the effort to manpages-es for the time being. Best Regards, Mario
