What makes you think it should produce a (non-dead) acute? On all keymaps I checked that key should produce an apostrophe, either dead or non-dead on any variant. CC'ing various -german mailing lists to get input from other contributors. (Folks, if answering, please keep the crosspost, preferrably... Please note that we're talking about *console* keymaps and not X keymaps....even if it should be logical that both match, of course)
