Ho, that’s nice to hear. I totally failed to notice the takeover of glibc, openssl, bash, coreutils, most, etc. manpage translations that manpages-fr-extra used to provide. Anyway, you could simply upload a manpages-fr-extra update providing the dummy package instead of adding it in manpages-l10n (and be bugged by version handling and NEW processing) if you want this issue resolved quickly.
