That might be true, thinking about it I also seem to recall that this
way. However, I miss the point here: the "mailcrypt/default" template
refers to "~/.emacs"; now, people using "~/.emacs.el" should have no
problems understanding that note, since they will know for sure that
they can customize their "~/.emacs.el" instead of their "~/.emacs"; on
the other hand, people accustomed to "~/.emacs" might not even know of
"~/.emacs.el". What is that he suggests us to do about it?
Alors ? On reste avec ~/.emacs ?

My apologies, here he is right indeed; I somehow thought that I had
written "/etc/emacs/site-start.el". This last is the right one, I will
fix this bug in the next upload.
C'est maintenant corrigé dans le fr.po.
