Package: src:linux Version: 4.0.8-2 Followup-For: Bug #790660 Dear Maintainer,
I have a similar issue on a Thinkpad Yoga with kernel 4.0.8-2. * What led up to the situation? Trying to suspend the laptop, e.g. by executing 'systemctl suspend'. This fails every time for me. * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? Disabling ACPI wakeup for the xHCI USB controller with echo disabled > /sys/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:14.0/power/wakeup * What was the outcome of this action? The computer does suspend successfully * What outcome did you expect instead? The computer would suspend successfully without having to disable the ACPI wakeup -- Package-specific info: ** Version: Linux version 4.0.0-2-amd64 (debian-kernel@lists.debian.org) (gcc version 4.9.3 (Debian 4.9.3-2) ) #1 SMP Debian 4.0.8-2 (2015-07-22) ** Command line: BOOT_IMAGE=/boot/vmlinuz-4.0.0-2-amd64 root=/dev/mapper/shiva_lvm-root ro quiet ** Not tainted ** Kernel log: [ 59.031946] sd 0:0:0:0: [sda] Synchronizing SCSI cache [ 59.033718] sd 0:0:0:0: [sda] Stopping disk [ 60.039171] PM: suspend of devices complete after 1199.281 msecs [ 60.063219] PM: late suspend of devices complete after 24.018 msecs [ 60.064699] xhci_hcd 0000:00:14.0: System wakeup enabled by ACPI [ 60.079637] PM: noirq suspend of devices complete after 16.398 msecs [ 60.080422] ACPI: Preparing to enter system sleep state S3 [ 60.327287] PM: Saving platform NVS memory [ 60.327294] Disabling non-boot CPUs ...
