please enable module rtsx_usb (config CONFIG_MFD_RTSX_USB). Previously (in 3.14), the modules were in the staging area and were included in the Debian default linux image. Now, they have been moved from staging (and renamed), and are not present in the default configuration anymore. So, (internal) USB Realtek card readers that worked with 3.14 don’t work anymore with 3.16.
