Please enable CONFIG_R8192EE, the driver for the Realtek RTL8192EE 802.11 PCIe wireless network adapters. It is required to get the wifi working on my T440s laptop. I built the linux-image-3.16-rc5-amd64 kernel with this option and I can confirm it enabled the wifi.
