Hi Ben, there is still the Adaptec timeout bug in Debian Wheezy. We already reported it in Bug #705048 for Debian Squeeze. But the problem is exactly the same in Wheezy.
The aacraid driver in Wheezy (Build 28000, same as Squeeze) has a serious bug which makes Adaptec raids under high io load unusable.
