This driver bug is still active in linux-image-3.13-1-amd64 (3.13.10-1)
running on an Intel DQ35JO board.
Strangely enough, this is not happening on Intel DG965SS, DH61BF,
DH61WW, or DQ45CB boards running the same kernel, so it appears to be
board specific.
The DQ35JO's BIOS is the most recent - version 1143. I had no choice
but to blacklist mei_me in /etc/modprobe.d/.
