Package: initramfs-tools
Version: 0.115
Severity: normal
update-initramfs fails preeventing the full installation of the debian
kernel and would reender the machine unbootable if I had not also
installed my own locally compiled stock kernel.
Example of a run of update-initramfs:
# update-initramfs -c -k 3.12-1-amd64
update-initramfs: Generating /boot/initrd.img-3.12-1-amd64

The /boot/initrd.img-3.12-1-amd64 file appears to be written properly
but grub then fails to link to it.
ld-linux-x32.so -> ld-2.17.so which is part of:
libc6-x32 2.17-97 amd64
