Hello guys, I experienced the freeze only during scrolling through LibreOffice documents using the touchpad, and not in documents I wrote myself. I got a rtf file, with which I could reproduce the freeze within seconds. I could only move the pointer, but the system did not respond, and I could not switch with ctrl-alt-F1 to a console. Magic sysrq worked to reboot the system.
Today I rebuild the kernel with the suggested patch and could not reproduce the freeze. I tested various LibreOffice files, the mentioned rtf-file, and I did suspend and resume. Thanks to you all for finding this.
