On a further note, the broadcom-sta 5.100.82.112-11 doesn't really work. There's nothing in syslog or kern.log, but more and more process started to hang in D state - one possible offender that I noticed in ps was "iwconfig wlan0 power on". I couldn't even get a stack trace of that process via "cat /proc/../stack", so I simply killed the machine and booted 3.2 again. Ah, I guess that's http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=714114 ...
