Hello Michal Hello Ben I have observed the same behaviour on my old laptop. This laptop is Asus M6N-series with Pentium M @ 1,6GHz and 512MB RAM.
I use XFCE4 as desktop environment. After starting, the used memory is about 100MB ... 150MB. If i copy a lot of data from external USB harddisk to the internal harddisk, the shell was terminated with out-of-memory. Immediately before terminating the shell, i determined a lot of disk activity at the internal harddisk. If i can do something to solve the issue, please let me know. Best regards Bernhard
