During boot with acpi=off the following message is logged: [ BUG: unable to handle kernel paging request at ffff88022142a4f0 ... ] The full dmesg output is attached. Related is the bug 689420: with acpi=on it is impossible to boot. Currently, some hardware is not used by linux, e.g., the touchpad. Any help?
