I upgraded the kernel to 3.4 from experimental, the stall warning doesn't appear anymore. At the same time, there are more "workaround" messages during USB startup:
[ 0.820986] ehci_hcd 0000:00:12.2: EHCI Host Controller [ 0.821020] ehci_hcd 0000:00:12.2: new USB bus registered, assigned bus number 1 [ 0.821034] ehci_hcd 0000:00:12.2: applying AMD SB700/SB800/Hudson-2/3 EHCI dummy qh workaround [ 0.821055] QUIRK: Enable AMD PLL fix [ 0.821057] ehci_hcd 0000:00:12.2: applying AMD SB600/SB700 USB freeze workaround [ 0.821070] ehci_hcd 0000:00:12.2: debug port 1 [ 0.821097] ehci_hcd 0000:00:12.2: irq 17, io mem 0xf0308400 I guess one of these helps. Instead, I am seeing this error during shutdown: BUG: Bad rss-counter state mm:ffff88003fbc9040 idx:1 val:-1 But that seems to be a known bug in 3.4.4, I reported it as bug #680513 Cheers Michael -- Michael Below <be...@judiz.de> -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-kernel-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
