Package: linux-2.6 Version: 3.4.1-1~experimental.1 Severity: normal Tags: experimental patch
Hi, according to this[1] comment the module asus-wmi does work on newer ASUS notebooks like my Asus Zenbook Prime (UX31A). Because of this the Fn keys (used to adjust brightness, volume, ...) do not work. A patch is mentioned in the comment. 1: http://comments.gmane.org/gmane.linux.kernel/1315719 Best regards, Carsten -- Package-specific info: ** Version: Linux version 3.4-trunk-amd64 (Debian 3.4.1-1~experimental.1) (debian-kernel@lists.debian.org) (gcc version 4.6.3 (Debian 4.6.3-1) ) #1 SMP Wed Jun 6 10:34:53 CEST 2012 ** Command line: BOOT_IMAGE=/vmlinuz-3.4-trunk-amd64 root=/dev/mapper/data-root ro quiet ** Tainted: F (2) * Module has been forcibly loaded. ** Kernel log: [ 8082.033145] Restarting tasks ... done.
