I can confirm that I'm using $ uname -a Linux myhost 3.0.0-1-amd64 #1 SMP Sat Aug 27 16:21:11 UTC 2011 x86_64 GNU/Linux now and at least for now I did not observed an immediate crash. > I suspect it's fixed by now.
